AFTER

Epinal imagery from the end of the 19th century representing Napoleon I, Napoleon III, the death of Napoleon IV, and the heir to the imperial throne. This is a color woodcut with a very fragile paper. Very delicate work has been done. Lots of tears and gaps on the periphery and in the graphics.

(Cleaning, dubbing, filling in the gaps in the periphery and in the graphics then resuming color, pictorial retouching ...)

A quick overview of what can be done on an 18th century engraving before the restoration of the tears ... Small miracle!
